This publication compiles the most relevant activities developed by the COST funded network genderSTE (2013-2017), a collaborative program intended to advance the state of the art in knowledge and policy implementation on gender, science, technology and environment, with a focus on urban development, transportation, climate change, and industrial innovation. genderSTE created a wide network of over 200 policy-makers and experts on gender, science and technology from over 490 countries in Europe and beyond.
