“Women at UPM” offers a comprehensive statistical study on the situation of women at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Following international standards for the development of gender statistics in science, the publication covers areas of interest such as: background indicators, the situation of women among students, administrative staff and faculty, as well as among decision making bodies and the way research is funded. Results and trends shown are revealing, particularly the significant differences between STEM fields.
