Projects → Assessment of gender gaps in urban infrastructure in Uzbekistan for the World Bank

Abstract

Our chairholder, Inés Sánchez de Madariaga, collaborated with the World Bank providing Rapid Assessment of Gender Gaps in Urban Infrastructure for the Productive and Livable Cities Program Program in Uzbekistan. The objective of this collaboration was to undertake a rapid gender assessment to inform project design and implementation strategies that address gender disparities and enhance gender-responsive urban infrastructure planning and service delivery in Uzbekistan. The collaboration involved desk review, stakeholders consultations, Gender Gap Analysis and recommendations. As a result, we elaborated a Gender Action Plan for participation and engagement which included specific actionable steps to enhance gender mainstreaming in Uzbekistan planning
