This practical guide aims to facilitate the integration of the gender perspective in urban planning at the municipal level. Published by the Diputación de Valencia, the main public administration in the province of Valencia, the guide includes an easy-to-read theoretical framework and instructions on how to leverage public funding to develop inclusive urban renewal projects that improve people’s daily lives.
The guide provides recommendations for designing and managing this type of urban actions, which are grouped by theme. In addition, the guide includes a total of 14 examples of good practices. These examples illustrate many of the recommendations and criteria provided by the guide.
