Abstract

This texts provides a research spotlight on the concept of “Mobility of Care”. This innovative concept is an attempt to provide a tool for a better understanding of the mobility of persons who have care responsibilities in their
everyday life.1 The mobility of care includes all travel resulting from home and caring responsibilities: escorting others; shopping for daily living, with the exclusion of leisure shopping; household maintenance, organization, and administrative errands,
as different from personal walks for recreation; and visits to take care of sick or older relatives.
